This not the sort of thing that I generally post about
but I'm abbhorred, disgusted, and in utter disbelief!
Today, my kindergartener came home with a library
book called, "And Tango Makes Three." Do you know
what it's about?! It's this story about two gay peguins
in the Central park zoo. Apparently it's a true story with
a whole load of heart warming hogwash.
Ok...I'm sorry. I'm getting rude...I'm just so upset that
the public school system has taken it upon themselves
to teach my child worldly morals. I feel so undermined
as a parent.
So tonight I basically had a good old "where babies come
from" talk and why families are so important. It was
strange saying, "sperm and "egg" to my 6 year old....and
at the dinner table no less! Don't worry folks I didn't say
the big "S" word. I knew she would ask what such a word
could mean.
I'm glad I could get this off my chest. I'm sorry for the
content and if it offended anyone. Please keep reading
I promise not to be so crazy angry in the future.

I'm with you girl! I don't think schools have any right to expose our innocent kids to that garbage. Heaven forbid that family values and morals be taught; no, they just teach the smut. I would be appalled too! I'm glad she could come home to a loving family who can explain right and wrong and how families really ARE important. Right on!

Yeah, I heard about that book. It has been banned from certain libraries in some places. I am sorry that happened. It seems like the whole "accept us as we are" movement is targeting kids, doesn't it? Scary stuff. I'd call the school and complain if I were you.
Oh boy! By the way, that doesn't even touch "crazy and angry" but if you want to really learn how to do "crazy and angry" mom, I'm happy to help you out with that ;)
