The End of the Penguin Drama

For those of you following our little drama,

I took "The Letter" into the school this morning.
I just have to say that Ev's principle is WONDERFUL!!
I received a phone call by lunch time. She was very direct,
understanding, and kind. It turns out, that Evelyn actually
chose the book and then asked the librarian to read it. So all
of my conspiracy theories about the school indoctrinating my
child sort of diminished.  I'm really glad that I wasn't
completely hormonal when I started writing.  She probably
would have thought I was some sort of hostile lunatic.
The cool thing about this whole horrid affair is that I was
able to share a copy of the Family Proclamation and I was
also able to have several conversations with my daughter
on the matter. Sure, it would have been nice to choose the
time and place but I've found as a parent I don't always get
that luxury. Sheesh!
I think that's all for now. I've got to stop typing because my
brain is turning to jelly!

I'm glad you guys got all that straightened out. O, and I'm sorry for all the crude captions on my facebook pictures. Your lovely brother took over and did those for me. Gotta love him! By the way, I think you and I should start a movement to get the other Williams families to blog!

I've heard about Babywise, but I looked it up on Amazon and read an excerpt and I got really intimidated by it. But, I think I might be ready for some tough cookies now, because I know if I slack in the beginning I will pay for it later. So, do you think I can do it? Cuz, I will order the book right now if you think that I can handle it. You're also going to have to recommend some good boots for me. Oh, and glad to hear you got the penguin situation sorted out:)
