just some randomness that is me

I love the red squiggly line that pops up when I'm typing.
It reminds me how long I've been out of school. That's kind
of a crazy thought....I've been out of high school for almost
10 years. The big 3-0 is sneaking up ever so quietly. I don't
know if I'm ready for that kind of commitment.

a hair post

I don't think I've ever posted a haircut before....
Well, here's one now! I carved some bangs into
my before mentioned, "hated" hair cut. I think
it's growing on me. I think I want to color it now....
We'll see.

meh...

I'm tired. My house is a mess, I have a lesson to plan,
and I hate my new hair-cut. Why can't life go back to
bed so that I can have a break?

summer started early this year

They have the chicken pox.....Whaaa?! School isn't
officially out until the 7th but summer started early.
The strangest part of this story: Evelyn was vaccinated
and Caitlin actually HAD the chicken pox at 2 months.
The kids' doctor just told me that we have weak genes.

They are both pretty bummed to not get to join in on the
"schools almost out" festivities. No one would ever have
known that they have the CP but I felt like I should probably
be a resposible parent and keep them away from people.
So I guess they'll have to settle on jumping it up outside.

You want to know the sad part of the story? Wyatt
is too young for the vaccine.

You have older sisters...sorry bud!

Sometimes I just don't know what to say,
so I post some pictures.
Notice the stylish cabbage patch shoes.
Ya.....that's just wrong man.

Just a thought or two

I was blog hopping just now. It's always the same
thing. "My boys", "cute girls", "We did this today",
you know.... the usual bloggy stuff.

The thought struck me, as I was reading a post about
my friends' daughters, that having a family is glorious!
Nothing makes me happier than watching my kids
grow up, make good decisions, and be good to each
other.

I sometimes gripe and moan about certain things
the kids do (like insisting on yelling at me when I'm on the
phone....every time). But I would never change a thing.

There have been times I've struggled with the fact that I
had to put a few things aside in order to be a mom but God
has been so good to me. He's shaped and molded me into
something better than anything I could have imagined.
And so to reiterate, I would never change a thing. I love
my husband. I love my children. And I love the things
I'm learning about myself.

dirty hacker

Well, today was not the coolest day I've ever had I
must say. I finally got my life back though.....sort of.

Many of you probably got a strange grammatically
challenged email from me this morning. Something
about me being stranded in London with no money.
Kudos to you all for seeing through this Nigerian schmuck!
(Did you know you can view the history of your gmail goings on?)
Any way, he totally gained control of my google account, changed
my password, and wreaked havoc! Buildings burning,
rain pouring, children crying (mostly me), you know...havoc! Ahem.

Do you know how hard it is to re-claim an
email account? It's rough! They asked me questions like: "what
date was this account set up? Who sent you a gmail invite? what is
their email address?" How the heck am I supposed to know?!
I can't remember what I ate for breakfast this morning! oie!

The sad thing is that he erased all of my contacts....sooo
if you're brave and wouldn't mind, I'd really like some friends
back. Thank you thank you.
