Trip in a nutshell and other ramblings

So, almost all of our pictures from our trip are on
the laptop but I've been feeling particularly lazy
about transferring them over. For some reason I have
terrible blogger's block with no pics. It's probably just
because my brain is like a sieve. With out reminders
I'm useless! Ah well. I'll do my best.

We had an awesome trip! For those of you who weren't
aware, James and I surprised his parents. They had no
idea we were coming. I really worried about it but he
was completely certain that they would love it. I've
decided that a person just needs to trust their spouse
when it comes to their family because he was right!
They were thrilled and it was so much fun to see the
"what the" looks on their faces. We sorted through a
bunch of ideas on how to storm his parents' house and
settled on having the kids ring the door bell. Martin
(James' dad) opened the door and was like," hey come
on in"....and then the "what the" face. It was classic.
I got a video of it but it doesn't do the moment justice.

We made a few stops that I felt were VERY important.
1. Ottovio's (Best darn Italian EVER!!)
2. Day Murray Music
3. IKEA (Oh how I'd waited for the moment...it was better
than I could have ever imagined!!)
4. the E.R (Madeline....what can I say more?)

Really the best part of the trip was getting to visit into all
hours of the night with everyone. I think that's what I miss
the most. I really love my other family and I'm glad that they
sort of like me too. :) I'll try to get less lazy and post some
pictures, but I'm not going to promise anything.

Oh, and on a completely different note, I just have to tell you
all (because I promised James that I would) that my brain has
taken a turn for the worst! The other day we were on a date
and I was driving...scary I know. Anyway, so I ran this stupid
stop sign that really didn't even need to be there, and James
was like: " Hey, did you see that stop sign?" And me in all my
glory said, "No, what did it say?"  "?....uh...stop?"

Yah, my grey matter has shrunk just a few too many times!!!
Wish me luck.

Just blame it on the pregnancy hormones. You only get that excuse every so often... Glad the trip went well!
